Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using JibberJabber ("the App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and JibberJabber Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

You must be at least 13 years old to use JibberJabber. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@jibberjabber.live if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create accounts for others, use automated means to create accounts, or impersonate any person or entity.

You agree not to use JibberJabber to:

• Post illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
• Harass, bully, or stalk other users
• Spam, phish, or distribute malware
• Infringe on any intellectual property rights
• Sell counterfeit tickets or conduct fraudulent transactions
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Attendees: Tickets purchased through JibberJabber are subject to the event organiser's own terms. JibberJabber facilitates the transaction but is not the event organiser.

Organisers: If you create and sell events, you are solely responsible for delivering the event as described, honouring tickets, and complying with all applicable laws. JibberJabber charges a 5% platform fee on ticket sales.

Refunds: Refund eligibility is determined by the event organiser's policy. JibberJabber may facilitate refunds for cancelled events at its discretion.

Pro and Mega subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Payments are processed by Apple/Google in accordance with their respective terms.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance.

You retain ownership of content you submit (event descriptions, photos, messages). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it solely for operating the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable laws.

All JibberJabber branding, design, code, and content (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by JibberJabber Ltd or its licensors. You may not use our trademarks or branding without written permission.

The Service integrates with third-party APIs (Ticketmaster, Stripe, Supabase, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service outages or content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JIBBERJABBER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
